Good reasons to write
- A mistake or an out-of-date rule. Tell us the page, what is wrong and, if you can, the official source (Act, rule, notification or court order). Road law changes often and corrections are our first priority.
- A topic we have not covered or a situation on Indian roads you would like explained.
- A test question you think is unclear or wrong. Please include the question text.
- Using our infographics in a school, college, driving school, NGO or road-safety campaign. Non-commercial road-safety use with credit and a link to indiadrivesafe.com is welcome; please tell us where you are using them.
- Media and partnerships with road-safety organisations.
What we cannot help with
- Emergencies: call 112.
- Challans and fines: check or pay them only on the official e-Challan portal or your State traffic police website.
- Licence applications, test slots and RTO services: use the official Sarathi (Parivahan) portal or your RTO.
- Legal advice on a particular case, such as a crash or a court matter. Please consult a lawyer. See our disclaimer.
India Drive Safe is an independent website and is not part of any government department. We never ask for payment, documents or personal details by phone or message. If anyone does so in our name, it is not us.
